Do I need a property manager if I live out of state?

You aren't required to hire a property manager simply because you live outside Florida, but professional management can make remote ownership considerably easier. A local property manager can coordinate tenants, vendors, inspections, maintenance issues, leasing, and emergencies without requiring the owner to be physically present.
